Braking capacity
Except for the "Number of axles",
"Weight per axle" and "Braking weight percentage"
lines, the following table appears on the sides of the Generator-cars
TG4. It shows the total weight and the braking characteristics of the
Talgo 4 sets.

Audio-video entertainment
Such system was first tested on the daytime Madrid-A Coruña/Vigo
Talgo service in 1985. RENFE extended this amenity to the whole daytime
Talgo 4 in 1986, except to the sleeping-cars.

Played on TV screens since the late-80s, but the sound is playing
on loudspeakers, not on the individual audio system
- Music-playing
Music is usually playing a few minutes prior to and after each
stop
- Announcements of stops
- Pre-recorded
- Playing actioned by the Talgo attendant
- In the first years of operation, these announcements
were made in four languages (Castilian, English, French, German)
but, since the mid-eighties, they are tailored to the communities
served by the relevant train:
- Castilian / English
- Castilian / Catalonian / English
- Castilian / Galician / English
Note : Castilian and Spanish regional languages
are reversed, depending upon the area where the relevant train
runs.
